Thank you for all of your comments. The buildings were very boxy and most were made from concrete blocks. Only the fronts were painted. Architectural design was not a high priority in most homes in Ecuador. However, there were amazing historical Spanish buildings and churches.

Wow! Wouldn't want to live at the top if the pub was down the bottom...getting home would be a nightmare! A fascinating view and capture. I like the splashes of colour.

Almost the entire city was on a hill. It was rather challenging at that altitude just to walk around.

Buildings were constructed in a helter skelter and haphazard manner. They were far more interesting to view from a distance.
