Soaring

While leaning over a cliff to photograph scarlet macaws in a fig tree, one of these beautiful birds flew below me across the Pacific Ocean's rocky shore in Costa Rica. I did not have time to set my camera to the correct settings to properly capture this bird in flight, but I was quite pleased that I did not fall off the cliff while shooting the photo..
