Survol du ciel français par de suspects objets volants ...
Suspicious flying objects fly over French skies...!
Suspicion is spreading :-( Could my neighbors' drones belong to Russian or American espionage?!
~
La suspicion se généralise :-(
Les drones de mes voisins n'appartiennent-ils pas à l'espionnage russe - ou états-unien ?!!?

Eric Desjours club has replied to Annemarie clubIts a joke, Annemarie ! They're tourist planes flying around a very busy nearby airfield.
But keep that to yourself! ;)
In any case, thank you very much for your visit.
But if someone only takes a quick glance, they might mistake them for something else, especially right now. However, I don't think we should drive ourselves crazy, nor should we let others drive us crazy.
Have a great weekend, and all the best! :)
Eric Desjours club has replied to * ઇଓ * ▹ Уαɾα clubNice weekend to you too, and many thanks for your visit.
PS: Today, suspected Russian drones flew over Germany. As we say in our popular wisdom: “The joke has its limits.” It seems that Mr. Putin is unaware of this.
NATO will no longer have any excuse, even if the US despises it (we now have to do without it).
Well... let's see how far he is willing to provoke us. Dark mornings are looming before our eyes, aren't they?
* ઇଓ * ▹ Уαɾα club has replied to Eric Desjours clubHow far is the world willing to be provoked? In my opinion, this—and not only this—will determine if dark mornings are indeed looming ahead of us.
Let's stay strong!
Bonne journée****

Auch Hitler hat man bei seinen ersten Feldzügen nicht ernst genommen.
Lernen wir aus der Geschichte.

Eric Desjours club has replied to sea-herdorf club“Let's learn from history” seems like an empty phrase, Erich. Especially when those in power have no interest in doing so, quite the contrary. I'm thinking of Trump, Putin, and all those who, with their revisionist rhetoric, are at the gates of power in the West (and elsewhere).
My photos are of course “fake,” but they do reflect a growing concern. In France, the far-right 'Rassemblement National' could win the next legislative elections - whether early or not, depending on Mr. Macron's decision. This party is close to Putin on one side and to Trump on the other. Two very encouraging prospects, aren't they?!
The threat of the AFD is hardly more reassuring in your country...
Have a nice & sunny Sunday.
Eric

Eric Desjours club has replied to sea-herdorf clubOne of the latest debates I watched on an “independent” youtube channel was entitled: “How the extreme center brought the Nazis to power.”
A renowned French historian explains how what you say has always preceded the rise of the far right.
The “extreme center,” a political movement that claims to be centrist (Macron's slogan in France was “Neither right nor left”), allows the hard right to pass itself off as moderate, and therefore centrist, as you say. And, finally, in recent weeks, it has allowed itself to form, in France, an alliance with the far right, something that had never been conceivable since the condemnation of the Holocaust.
I would like to add to your comments, my friend, that the rise of Trumpism and its equivalents in many democracies (former democracies?) seems to spell their demise in the medium to long term.
I no longer really feel like swimming in this increasingly hostile world. My personal story is hardly inspiring, but I can't complain because I remain privileged compared to many households that are increasingly affected by the recurring deterioration of living conditions, including within our societies.
I no longer have the courage to fight, which is what I had reserved my retirement years for. But I have lost faith and that makes me despair.
In short.
