Eglise Saint-Martin-le-Seul à Bondaroy, près de Pithiviers (Loiret), devenue monastère Saint-Grégoire d’Arménie à la fin du Xème siècle suite à l'exil de l’archevêque de Nicopolis à travers l’Europe, chassé par les troupes perses.
Héloïse de Pithiviers et Arlefroy, le chevalier de l’église Saint-Georges à Pithiviers, l’accueillent vers l’an mille et lui confèrent, à sa demande, le droit de mener une vie d’ermite à l’église Saint-Martin-le-Seul.

The church of Saint-Martin-le-Seul in Bondaroy, near Pithiviers (Loiret, France), became the monastery of Saint-Gregoire of Armenia at the end of the 10th century following the exile of the archbishop of Nicopolis through Europe, who had been chased by Persian troops.
Heloise of Pithiviers and Arlefroy, the knight of the church of Saint-Georges in Pithiviers, welcomed him around the year 1000 and, at his request, granted him the right to lead a hermit's life in the church of Saint-Martin-le-Seul.
