Everything is different in winter time! Some nice views but photographing is not easy somewhere you wanted. Like tunnel pictures... I remember we could not go to the location.
But i have some viaduct pictures from there.. Not so good like yours.

Thank you Herb. But please let me clarify: this is not the kind of locos that run on the narrow gauge to the Brocken. This line is standard gauge and runs from Blankenburg to mines in the Harz mountains. Decades ago, there was statoion where passengers could change from this line to the Brocken line, but that has been deconstructed.

Super, wie da der Abdampf noch aus dem Tunnel herausquillt. Ich denke, Rückwärtsfahrt mit der Lok ist für das Personal angenehmer als Vorwärts. Dürfte es doch so den Führerstand nicht so vernebeln. ;-)

Eine interessante Überlegung, klingt schlüssig.

Ich hab nie verstanden wieso der Dampf manchmal weiß und manchmal grau ist, wie kommt das ?
