Ja, sehr, aber auch wirklich scharf. Also sparsam dosieren! Diese Früchte habe ich inzwischen gedörrt und zu Pulver verarbeitet.

Ja, ich habe meine Hälfte des Balkons mit Chilipflanzen belegt - Habaneros, Cayenne, Jalapenos, Tabasco etc. Jetzt wird das alles verarbeitet. Das meiste wird gedörrt und zu Pulver gemahlen, und einiges kommt ins Öl

Schönen Dank Wiebke - nein, von einfach reinbeißen rate ich dringend ab, ob wohl genau das bei Chili Contests gemacht wird. Ich will sie als Pulver nutzen, das lässt sich viel besser dosieren.

Ich habe sie getrocknet und zu Pulver gemahlen, denn nur so kann ich sie so dosieren, wie es wohl sinnvoll ist.

Das stimmt. Gestern hatte ich eine rote Habanero. Die orangenen hatten in diesem Frühjahr etwas Frost abbekommen, ich hoffe wenigstens eine Frucht zu erhalten für neue Samen.
