Braunschweiger Klassiker (PiP)

Der Braunschweiger Löwe, bis in das 19. Jahrhundert auch als Löwenstein[3] und heute noch als (Braunschweiger) Burglöwe[4] bezeichnet, ist ein Denkmal und das bekannteste Wahrzeichen der Stadt Braunschweig. Er steht auf dem Burgplatz vor der Burg Dankwarderode und dem Braunschweiger Dom.

Als Volksschüler in München lernten wir, dass der Löwe ganz und gar ein Bayer gewesen sei -bis ich später die wahre (ganze) Geschichte erfahren habe.
Was Lübeck angeht, habe ich bei meinem kürzlichen Besuch erfahren, dass damals Lübeck schon existierte, als der Heinrich sie dem Grafen Adolf "abkaufte" -also was man damals so darunter verstand :-)
