Though I've been in Seattle multiple times over the years, somehow I hadn't seen the Monorail in decades. I was surprised to see that, looking at it from a contemporary perspective, it no longer looks modern but instead almost historic as buses from the 60's.

I was surprised to come across the Utilikilts store in a fairly conventional shopping area. Since kilts are popular with gay men who identifies as 'bears' or with the leather community, it seemed incongruous for the store to be where it was. I had to remind myself that the company is not specifically gay-identified.
