Seattle

Seattle Sound Transit, the trolley system linking SeaTac airport and downtown Seattle. It's very convenient, quick, and cheap. Note that this is outbound from the SeaTac airport, it will switch to the other track at the crossing just ahead.

First time I saw the Cascades train, it seemed odd that it had what appeared to be decorative fins on top.... Going under WTO Way in Seattle.

The first time I saw the Seattle Monorail was sometime in the 70's. For some reason my memory of it seems to come out of "The Jetson's", as very modern and not as running down tree-lined streets to a fairly conventional city center.
