Inside the 'shoe'. The poles and trees that hold up the inside area mystified me somewhat. All materials for the mountain were ‘found’ or came from dumps and there is no nearby forest, so these must have been hauled some distance. And then there’s the question of how they’re vertical – are they held up simply by the tension between the base and the structure at the top?
