What I couldn't see when watching the upcoming eastbound freight was that it was on a siding waiting for another eastbound train to pass. I had given up waiting for the train and was headed for the Center of the World, when a much faster eastbound train passed. Though you can barely tell it in this picture, the passing train is closer to me and has empty container platforms. and was headed for the Center of the World, when a much faster eastbound train passed.
