A small area of Regent's Canal that seemed to have quite a few people actually living in their boats.

Seems reminiscent of the houseboats on Lake Union in Seattle. Which, AFAIK, still have people living in them, altho I gather there's been pressure to get rid of them.

I was just in Portland and saw the house boats that are there and are apparently quite similar to what is in Seattle, I'll be posting a picture of that in a couple of weeks. These are narrow boats, so much smaller than the 'houses on boats' that are in the Northwest.
