Edgemont, SD BNSF(0612)
Plaque describing the creation of Edgemont, in 1890, as a service location for the Burlington Railroad (now the BNSF). Its location was important then (and now) because of the juncture of two rail lines, one from Wyoming coal fields and another from the Black Hills (which no longer operates.)
