I was a little concerned, since my rental car weighed a little less than two of them. I rolled the window far enough up that none could stick their head in, and just sat as they passed around me. Photo taken through windshield, see comments with nearby photo.

First time I've encountered something like that and was almost as anxious as cheeky.... I've ended up in the middle of smaller animal (e.g., sheep) herding on the road, but nothing this large.
