SF Golden Gate Park Strawberry Hill 3432a

From Strawberry Hill in Golden Gate Park, looking north. In the distance are the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge. The large building is the former U.S. Public Health Hospital, which has been closed since the 1980's. It started out as a merchant seamen hospital in the late 1800's. Considering the density of space in SF, it is surprising that it hasn't been put to some other use.
