San Ardo oil field (3669)
The San Ardo oil field, just south of San Ardo in Monterey County, adjacent to US 101. Driving up US 101 it is somewhat of a surprise to come upon the oil field since this field is quite distant from the other California oil fields. This picture is looking southwest across the field.
