Monterey Railroad Station 3698a

Passenger service ran from SF to Monterey (and on to Pacific Grove) from 1880 to 1971, operated by Southern Pacific as the "Del Monte." The tracks became a coastal bicycle path, though there are now considerations to restore train service to Monterey.
