Palmdale, USAF museum (0397)

Joe Davies Heritage Airpark in Palmdale. This is a Boeing B-52 bomber. The B-52 began service with the Air Force in 1955 and they are still in service at this time. For those of us raised during the Cold War, the B52 figured prominently and regularly in any discussion of military security.
