Thos Payge marchant, twice Maior of Dartmoth gaue ____ poundes to the building of ____ window_. Anno 1634.

At top right is the Tetragrammaton, sometimes called 'Pipi' as it looks like the Greek letters, but actually (from right to left) YHVH, Yahweh or Jehovah in Hebrew.

Curious. Hebrew letters in the top right window seem unusual for C of E.

Not that unusual. Here they are at St Anne and St Agnes, EC1: www.ipernity.com/doc/dhedwards/20184505

It's a lovely (Wren) building, and they have free lunchtime concerts one or two days a week. Hard pews, though.
