Didn't quite make it
About to molt
When a cicada looks you in the eye . . .
Flat beer
Unexpected artwork
Amber wave of grain
A happy accident
Not like a big pizza pie, actually
Somebody got hissef a new truck
When it absolutely, positively . . .
And another alley
A commentary on our times
Sticks and stones
And another red door
One tree, many trunks
Many trunks make for nice shade
Hi, lily
There be cat
Reaching out
Lake Hope, autumn, just after sunset
Lake Hope, autumn, before sunset
Man with ears in room
Harsh reality
The best bubble I saw all morning
Red door or not
An alley in the rain
Playing it safe
Checking for the tomato's owner
Considering a fallen tomato
Heading out
Considering the options
Taking a peek
Why it's called a "box turtle"
It's a male
In the good old days
Every journey begins with a single step . . .
Street textures

June's grandmother's rose
The people from whom I got my house have lived in this area for a very long time; June took a cutting from a rose bush planted long ago at her grandmother's grave and planted it at the side of the yard. Now it's an enormous bush, and every year it blooms. This is one of the flowers, shot at dusk this evening.
