Friday 17 July 2026 (0928) – Cozy Travel, Sandy, Bedfordshire OU22 ZYA seen on the A11 near Fiveways, Barton Mills. It is a Neoplan Tourliner N2216 that had been new to Ridleys Coaches, Leamington Spa in April 2022.

Friday 17 July 2026 (1008) – A Turkish built AOS Grand Toro midi-coach seen heading westbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills. KF73 VKX was new to Whites, St. Albans in September 2023 registered V4 WSA. I believe it is now operated by Super Plus Coach Limited, Aylesbury.

Tuesday 19 May 2026 (0813) – A damp morning on the seafront in Walton-on-the-Naze. Transport Made Simple/Konnectbuses 852 (AO57 HCD), a Scania CN230UD OmniCity new to Hedingham and District in February 2008, was working school service ‘Lower 4’ to Tendring Technology College. In late September 2025 the Go-Ahead Group sold its Go East Anglia operations to TMS. That purchase included the Konectbus brand (in Norfolk) and the Konectbuses brand (in Essex and Suffolk). The latter had only been created a short time before when Go Ahead had merged its Hedingham and Chambers businesses owned for a number of years and managed by Konectbus. In ‘Buses’ magazine June 2026 it was reported that TMS would be rebranding its various East Anglian operations under the Central Connect name.

The window label shows that it had been on a ‘Door to Door’ tour based at Great Yarmouth organised by Ellen Smith Tours Limited of Rochdale. The ‘Door to Door’ programme includes pick-up and return to the passenger’s home by taxi/mini-bus. This particular tour was over six days and had departed from the North-West on Sunday 5 July 2026 and was now homeward bound.

When the latter service began in May 2026 a number of additional vehicles were added to the Diss based allocation to cover the work, on loan I believe. This included Neoplan Tourliner OY23 CYK seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills working the 0905 service from Norwich to London (Victoria). Saturday 11 July 2026 (1016) – Sanders Coaches 920 (DLZ 822), a Jonckheere bodied Volvo B13RT new to Lochs & Glens in June 2014 registered BT14 DLZ, heading westbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills. Quite a number of Sanders vehicles had passed by during the time I had spent at Fiveways this morning but this was the only one where I was on the right side of the roundabout to capture a close on photograph.

Saturday 11 July 2026 (0923) – Sanders Coaches 919 (DLZ 844), a Jonckheere bodied Volvo B13RT new to Lochs & Glens in May 2014 registered BT14 DLX, heading westbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills. Unfortunately, I always seem to be on the wrong side of the roundabout at the wrong time! It always seems to be that if I then move over to the other side I then miss the coaches passing where I was originally stood!!
