HFF: Percivals Motors Plaxton Supreme on the A11 at Barton Mills – 8 Apr 1985 (15-29)

Easter Monday 8 April 1985 (approx. 1345) – The wooden posts and chain spike fence bordered what was The Bull Inn car park at Barton Mills and is where the houses of Chestnut Close were later built. A Plaxton Supreme operated by Percivals Motors (Oxford) Limited is travelling on the old A11 main road which remains today as a local road into Barton Mills village. The dual carriageway was built on the land beyond running in front of the large house (left) which is now on the corner of the road to Tuddenham.

The coach was working the 1110 Lowestoft-Bristol service 747, a cross-country service worked jointly by Percivals. Premier Travel and National Express.
