Friday 12 August 1994 – Competitors vie for customers at Scarborough with the open top seafront services competitive.

At this time R W Appleby had a base in the town from where it operated coaches as well as covered top buses on town services and also the open top seafront services.

East Yorkshire Motor Services is the larger operator in the town and runs its local services under the Scarborough and District name.
