David Palmer Coaches at the Smoke House Inn, Beck Row F632 OHD – 9 Nov 1993 (209-26)

Tuesday 9 November 1993 – Another visitor to the Smoke House Inn, Beck Row, near Mildenhall in 1993 was David Palmer Coaches of Normanton near Wakefield. F632 OHD was a Plaxton Paramount bodied DAF SB3000 new in October 1988.

The hotel building in the background gives a warm and welcoming glow on this rather wet evening – note the rainwater running from the corners of the front panel. I took this photograph using a time exposure with the camera mounted on the tripod. A finely balanced umbrella covered the equipment and myself. Additional lighting came from the headlights of my car.
