Worthing Coaches (National Express owned) XW5614 (BU18 OSP) in Mildenhall - 23 Oct 2021 (P1090726)

Saturday23 October 2021 (1315) – Worthing Coaches X5614 (BU18 OSP) seen travelling along Kingsway, Mildenhall when working the 1140 National Express service 727 from Norwich (UEA) to Brighton (1845). It had just called at Mildenhall Bus Station where it was due at 1310. Earlier in the day the coach had worked the 0215 service 727 from Brighton to Norwich (UEA) (due there at 0910).

The coach, a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410EB6 that was new in March 2018, is based at Spencer Road, Lancing near Worthing which is about ten miles west of Brighton.

In March 2020 National Express acquired the Lucketts Travel Group, Lucketts had acquired Worthing Coaches in 2005 retaining the name as an operating subsidiary.

The driver here would have taken over the coach at Stansted Airport at 0555 driving up to Norwich then back to Stansted where it would be handed over to another driver at 1450.
