Ambassador Travel 880 (CAH 880Y) in Mildenhall - 24 Jun 1989 (90-05)

Saturday 24 June 1989 – King Street, Mildenhall. Originally new to the Eastern Counties Omnibus Company as their LL880 (CAH 880Y) in August 1982, this Eastern Coachworks bodied Leyland Leopard passed to Ambassador Travel when ECOC was split up in September 1984. It carries National Holidays livery although was working a Norwich-Cambridge duplicate to the 0805 Lowestoft-Bristol National Express service 747 worked by Premier Travel Services 360 (E360 NEG). The latter coach can just be seen on the extreme right. The driver of that had pulled forward to let the Ambassador coach leave before he reversed back into the lay-by. Some of his passengers had not yet returned from making a toilet stop.
