South Yorkshire Transport (Mainline) buses in Sheffield bus station – 24 Sep 1992 (180-20)

Thursday 26 September 1992 - South Yorkshire Transport (Mainline) 2005 (C105 HDT), sporting the special ‘Meadowhall Express’ livery for operation on service 501 between Sheffield city centre and the Meadowhall shopping complex, seen here in Sheffield bus station.

It was one of ten Danish built Leyland-DAB articulateds new in August 1995 which had 61 bus seats and further room for 71 standing passengers. They were numbered 2001-2010 (C101-110 HDT). Soon after a further three vehicles were delivered fitted with 61 coach type seats which were numbered 2011-2013 (C111-113 HDT).‘GR’ is the code for Greenland Road garage.
