Shearings-National 600 (D600 MVR) in Ipswich – Oct 1987 (57-20)

October 1987 – National Holidays Limited was the first National Bus Company subsidiary to be sold in the privatisation process in 1986. The business was acquired by the Pleasurama Group, the owner of Shearings Holidays and Smiths Happiways (Smiths Shearings). The Group then consolidated their assets to form Shearings National Limited.
Shearings National 600 (D600 MVR), a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Leyland Tiger new in April 1987, was seen at Ipswich whilst on tour. It features the lower set driving position.
