Mulleys MUI 7919 (00D 40014, X179 CHJ) in Bury St. Edmunds - 23 Nov 2019 (P1050926)

Saturday 23 November 2019 – Mulleys Motorways operated the Park and Ride service again this year for the Bury St. Edmunds Christmas Fayre.

MUI 7919 stands in Crown Street before leaving for the Park and Ride site at Saxham Business Park. It is an Alexander bodied Volvo B7TL new as Dublin Bus AV14 (00D 40014) in September 2000 which became X179 CHJ when imported to England. Mulleys re-registered it to MUI 7919 in May 2016.

The tower of St. Mary’s Church (the church of St. Mary with St. Peter), the Parish Church of Bury St. Edmunds, stands beyond. Built during the 14th and 15th centuries it is the final resting place of Mary Tudor. The church aisle is one of the longest in England.
