R178 VPU, an Alexander RL bodied Volvo Olympian new to Stagecoach East London (VA78) in September 1997. It was later cascaded to Stagecoach Midlands with corporate fleet number 16078,

It wears the red and white livery of the Noah Vale operation of Weavaway Travel (where it operated with registration C17 TCL). The ‘NV’ logo remains and appears to be an adaptation of the National Bus Company ‘double N’ logo – as does the red and white livery. (Noah Vale sounds like ‘no avail’)
