Monday 5 August 2019 – Tantivy Blue Coach Tours is Jersey’s largest coach operator and quite a number of their coaches were parked along a closed section of the Esplanade during the annual ‘Battle of the Flowers’ carnival event.

Side by side at the front of the long line are two Wadham Stringer bodied Leyland Swifts. Left is 23 (J 91155) new to Luton &District (300) in February 1989 registered F300 MNK. Right is 4 (J 87916) new to the London Borough of Harringay in June 1989 registered F136 UMD.

The building on the left is Gaspé House, the offices of the Royal Bank of Canada.
