Ipswich Buses 155 (BF65 HVV) - 21 Jun 2019 (P1020804)

Ipswich Buses 155 (BF65 HVV) - 21 Jun 2019 (P1020804)
Friday 21 June 2019 – Crown Street and Tower Ramparts bus station, Ipswich.

Ipswich Buses 155 (BF65 HVV) is about to enter the bus station. It is one of three Mercedes-Benz O 295 Citaro buses added to the Ipswich Buses fleet in September 2015. The three are 153-155 (BF65 HVT/U/V).

Parked on the left on a bus station loading stand is Ipswich Buses 37 (YR61 RUH), a Scania N230UD OmniCity that was new to Centrewest (London) in October 2011 as their SN36055, operating the free lunchtime shuttle service 37 which links the headquarters of Suffolk County Council (Endeavour House) with the town centre. Much reduced the facility was offered for most of the day in the past also providing a link for Ipswich Buses staff between the Constantine Road garage and the town centre.

On the right is a First Eastern Counties Buses Alexander Dennis Enviro300 operating the Park and Ride service 800, a cross town service linking Park and Ride sites at Copdock in the west and Martlesham Heath in the east.

Just peeping between the Citaro and the Enviro is Ipswich Buses 88 (YJ12 GWC), one of the 13 Optare Tempo X1200SRs acquired from Trent Barton in early 2019. New in May 2012 this had been Trent Barton 324.
