Ipswich Buses 41 (YR61 RVF) and 97 (YJ12 GWO) - 21 Jun 2019 (P1020666)

Friday 21 June 2019 – Over the years Ipswich Buses has often bought secondhand buses for its fleet as well as brand new vehicles. In this photograph taken at Tower Ramparts bus station are two such examples of the former.

On the left is 41 (YR61 RVF) one of 18 Scania N230UD OmniCity double deckers new to Centrewest (London). This had been their SN36065 new in October 2011.

The single decker is 97 (YJ12 GWO) one of the 13 Optare Tempo X1200SRs acquired from Trent Barton (333) in early 2019 branded for service 13. This had been their 333 new in May 2012.
