East Yorkshire 602 (N602 BRH) in Hull – 6 Mar 2000 (433-16)
Monday 6 March 2000 (approx. 1410) – East Yorkshire Motor Services 602 (N602 BRH), an Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympian new in December 1995, seen in Hull prior to working the 1425 service 121 to Scarborough – the service for which it is branded. About 50 miles to Scarborough where it was due to arrive at 1706.

The bus is parked close to Ferensway Bus and Coach Station (which stood behind the camera).

In later years when the Paragon Interchange was built, nose in bus stand number 1 was located roughly where the two red coated pedestrians are walking. A new building housing the enquiry and information office was built outwards from the wall away from the two glass fronted arches. On the extreme left where the lighter coloured brickwork can be seen are the first two of five arched portals which became one of the main passenger entrance points to the buses, coaches and trains.
