First Eastern Counties 364 (S551 WAT) and 360 (V360 DVG) in Bury St. Edmunds – Dec 2000
Saturday in December 2000 - The Bury St. Edmunds garage of First Eastern Counties Buses Limited had received an allocation of eight new Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart MPDs for operation of the town services in November 1999. Numbered 356-363 (V356-363 DVG) these were supplemented with a similar former Plaxton Demonstrator S551 WAT which had been new in January 1999. That became 364 which was seen in St. Andrew’s Street North. In the background is one of the original eight buses namely 360 (V360 DVG). The Cattle Market and open car park area is where the Apex Leisure Venue and the Arc Shopping area were later built.
