Eastern Counties Omnibus Company S10 (G710 JAH) in Norwich – 9 Aug 1993

Monday 9 August 1993 – The Eastern Counties Omnibus Company was privatised in a management buy-out in February 1987 and the Dennis Javelin was chosen for its earliest single deck orders. The first five (numbered S6-10) delivered in late 1989 had Duple 300 bodies. S10 (G710 JAH), new in December 1989, is seen here in Castle Meadow, Norwich. The following ten Javelins (S11-S20 delivered in November 1990 had Plaxton Derwent II bodywork. In a later re-classification S6-10 became JP6-10 and S11-20 became JP11-20.
