Huddersfield JOC 414 (WVX 414) (in Huddersfield?) – Mar 1974

March 1974 – Huddersfield Joint Omnibus Committee 414 (WVX 414), a Roe bodied Leyland PD3A/2 that was new in April 1962. I can’t recall the location but suspect it may have been in Huddersfield itself. I must have been travelling through as I didn’t take more than this one photograph at the time.

On 1 April 1974 the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (WYPTE) came into being absorbing Bradford City Transport, Leeds City Transport, the Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee and the Huddersfield Joint Omnibus Committee.
