Eastern Counties TH911 (C911 BEX) in Barton Mills - 15 Oct 1988

Saturday 15 October 1988 - Eastern Counties Omnibus Company TH911 (C911 BEX) turning from Bell Lane to The Street in Barton Mills during the first week of operation of the ‘Mildenhall Mini-Line’ group of services. Service ML5 travelled from King Street, Mildenhall via St. Andrew’s Street, Mill Street, Station Road and Mildenhall Road into Barton Mills. In Barton Mills it travelled a circular route via Church Lane, Newmarket Road, Bell Lane and The Street before returning to Mildenhall. This was the 1204 service from Mildenhall which was due back there at 1216. Certainly a Ford Transit chassis, I think the correct definition of the bodywork is a Dormobile body shell converted by Robin Hood Coachworks. It was new in March 1986.
