Wednesday 31 May 1989 – During late May 1989 the bus layby in King Street, Mildenhall was closed for re-paving and vehicles were picking up outside what was then the Budgen Supermarket in St. Andrew’s Street. This store became Wilko in later years. The layby and bus shelter can be seen in the background.
