Friday 10 August 2016 (1116) – For some time the section of St. Andrew’s Street North close to the main shops in Bury St. Edmunds has been closed resulting in buses being diverted along Parkway and Risbygate Street. Galloway Coach Travel 228 (AY55 DGV), a Wright Cadet bodied VDL that was new in September 2005, seen on Parkway having worked the 1000 service 385 from Stowmarket. It has lost its yellow and blue colour scheme worn since new. In the centre of the roundabout is a statue of St. Edmund at his martyrdom made from steel wire with steel arrows penetrating his heart and body.
