De Lijn 5540 (1867 P) at Diksmuide garage - 5 Feb 1996

Monday 5 February 1996 (approx. 1000) – De Lijn (Vlaamse Vervoersmaatschappij De Lijn) 5540 (1867 P), a DAF powered Van Hool A120 integral new to NMVB in October 1979, seen inside the company garage at Diksmuide. The bus carries the final style of NMVB livery prior to the formation of De Lijn.

I remember this visit quite well. There were untold sparrows fluttering about in the rafters making quite a lot of noise in the otherwise silent garage.
