Calderdale JOC 91 (MJX 11J) in Halifax – Mar 1974
March 1974 – Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee had been created in September 1971 by the merger of the Halifax Joint Omnibus Committee and Todmorden Joint Omnibus Committee. The JOCs were part owned by their respective municipality and part owned by the local railway company. With regard to the Halifax JOC, the Corporation owned buses (‘A’ fleet) carried fleet numbers below 200 and the railway owned buses (‘B’ fleet) above 200.

Northern Counties bodied Daimler Fleetline 91 (MJX 11J) was new to Halifax in December 1970. It was seen on the parking ground close to Crossfield bus station in Halifax.

On 1 April 1974 Calderdale JOC became part of the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (WYPTE).
