August 1973 - Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee 299 (RCP 279K) was a Northern Counties bodied Daimler Fleetline that was new to the Halifax Joint Omnibus Committee in May 1972. It was seen on the SELNEC bus park in Smith Street, Rochdale prior to working service 95 to Burnley.

Calderdale JOC had been created by the merger of the Halifax JOC and Todmorden JOC in September 1971 which resulted in the creation of the through services from Rochdale to Burnley and Halifax via Todmorden.

On 1 April 1974 Calderdale JOC became part of the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive
