DSCF4749 Walsall Corporation XDH 56G - 'Buses Festival' 21 Aug 2016

Sunday 21 August 2016 – Former Walsall Corporation 56 (XDH 56G) was a revolutionary Northern Counties bodied Daimler Fleetline CRC6-36 fitted with two staircases and two passenger doors. Built in 1968 it was exhibited at the Earls Court Commercial Motor Show in September 1968. I went on it then and I went on it again today some 48 years later! A participant at the ‘Buses Festival’ held at the National Motor Museum, Gaydon organised by ‘Buses’ magazine.
