Saturday 19 August 1995 – York Brothers of Cogenhoe near Northampton operated a summer Saturday holiday service from the Northampton area to Great Yarmouth. Plaxton Supreme VI bodied Ford R1115 50 (RBD 287Y), named ‘HMS Manchester’, was seen at Barton Mills during a refreshment break. This lay-by alongside the A1065 has become one of the last remaining places for a coach to stop between Newmarket and Thetford. Although only features a toilet block and Walker’s Snack Bar.
