Burtons Coaches J56 GCX (still in Arriva livery) - 25 Oct 2006 (565-32A)

Wednesday 25 October 2006 - J56 GCX, an Ikarus Citibus bodied DAF SB220 new in 1992, still carries Arriva livery despite having changed ownership on 29 August 2004 when the Tellings-Golden Miller Group acquired Arriva’s operations in Colchester. Arriva fleet number E4335 is also carried. TGM rebranded their new purchase as Network Colchester placing it under the Burtons Coaches control, vinyl fleetnames were applied over the Arriva livery. From time to time vehicles are moved between the different TGM businesses and the bus is seen here operating with Burtons in Suffolk making an out of the ordinary appearance on service 355. Pictured at the Parkside terminus in Beck Row, it was between trips on the 1015 run from Bury St Edmunds and the 1121 return.
