Burtons Coaches T50 BCL (99 D 42 (Ireland) and V337 DBD) at Red Lodge - 11 May 2005 (544-32A)
Wednesday 11 May 2005 (approx 1230) - The first time I drove Burtons Coaches T50 BCL was on the 1215 Bury St Edmunds to Newmarket service 357 - certainly providing over capacity for the 357! The bus was lettered for, and was usually the regular bus on, the Cambridge to Saffron Walden service 32.

An Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident which had had an interesting past. It started life with Dublin Bus in Ireland in 1999 when the company was evaluating its options for future vehicle purchases and carried fleet number DL2 (99 D 42). Within about six months it passed to Alan Martin Coaches in Dublin. It then passed to Dawson Rentals in the United Kingdom and took registration number V337 DBD. When Burtons acquired the bus they applied select registration T50 BCL.
