Acadian Lines 913 and 921 at Sydney (Nova Scotia) 8 Sep 1992 (Ref 174-23)

Acadian Lines 913 and 921 at Sydney (Nova Scotia) 8 Sep 1992 (Ref 174-23)
Tuesday 8 September 1992 (late morning) - Acadian Lines 913 and 921 at the company’s terminal in Sydney (Nova Scotia). 913 was a GMC P8M 4905A new to the company in 1978 which was painted in fleet colours. 921, an MCI MC8, was a secondhand acquisition which still carried the colours of a previous operator. The previous day (Monday 8 September) was the Labour Day public holiday when we travelled to Sydney from Halifax. Passing through Antigonish at 1150-1220 number 913 was parked there as a spare so must have been required to duplicate one of the later services into Sydney that evening. Coach 921 had worked the 1300 Halifax-Sydney Express (trip 63L) arriving Sydney just after 1900. (Ref 174-23)
