Thursday 6 June 2013 (0954) – Three tri-axle Setra S416 GT-HD coaches of Shearings Holidays lined up awaiting their clientele outside the Beresford Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall. Leading the pack in the gold Grand Tourer livery is 203 (BK10 EJD) (May 2010) with blue liveried 127 (BK09 LUT) centre and 124 (BK09 LUO) (both new May 2009). I suppose the marketing people know what they are doing but I can’t help feel that the presence of cartoon characters on prestigious coaches is not quite right as charming as ‘Wallace and Gromit’ actually are.
