L'entrée de l'abbaye: avant de pouvoir entrer, il y a un peu de jardinage ;-)

L'abbaye Blanche est fondée en 1105. De l'église et des bâtiments conventuels édifiés entre les12e et 13e siècles, il ne subsiste que la salle capitulaire à deux nefs, le cellier, le cloître roman. L'abbaye est abandonnée par les religieuses lors de la Révolution française. Depuis les bâtiments ont été affectés à diverses activités : hôpital militaire, colonie de vacances, caserne allemande de 1940 à 1944, maternité. Après 1945 elle retrouve sa vocation première, un lieu dédié à la spiritualité (seminaire et communauté catholique). En 2011 elle est mise en vente et vient d'être racheté dans le but d'en faire un institut d’enseignement diplomatique, relations internationales et sciences politiques.

THE ENTRANCE TO THE ABBEY: BEFORE YOU CAN GET IN, THERE'S A BIT OF GARDENING TO DO;-) The "White Abbey" is founded in 1105. All that remains of the church and conventual buildings erected between the 12th and 13th centuries are the two-nave chapter house, the cellar and the Romanesque cloister. The abbey was abandoned by the nuns during the French Revolution. Since then, the buildings have been used for various activities: military hospital, holiday camp, German barracks from 1940 to 1944, maternity hospital. After 1945, it was returned to its original purpose, as a place dedicated to spirituality (seminary and Catholic community). In 2011, it was put up for sale and has just been bought with the aim of turning it into an institute for teaching diplomacy, international relations and political science.

DER EINGANG ZUR ABTEI: BEVOR MAN HINEINGEHEN KANN, GIBT ES NOCH EIN WENIG GARTENARBEIT ;-) Die "Weisse Abtei" wurde 1105 gegründet. Von der Kirche und den Klostergebäuden, die zwischen dem 12. und 13. Jh. errichtet wurden, sind nur noch der zweischiffige Kapitelsaal, der Weinkeller und der romanische Kreuzgang erhalten. Während der frz. Revolution wurde die Abtei von den Nonnen verlassen. Seitdem wurden die Gebäude für verschiedene Zwecke genutzt: Militärhospital, Ferienkolonie, deutsche Kaserne von 1940 bis 1944, Entbindungsstation. Nach 1945 wurde sie wieder ihrer ursprünglichen Bestimmung zugeführt, einem Ort, der der Spiritualität gewidmet war (Theologisches Seminar und katholische Gemeinschaft). Im Jahr 2011 wurde sie zum Verkauf angeboten und vor kurzem verkauft. Das Projekt ist, sie in ein Institut für diplomatische Bildung, internationale Beziehungen und Politikwissenschaften umzuwandeln.
